FAQs
I belong to a CEO peer group. Should I stop?
Absolutely not. We recommend every CEO have a strong external support group with like-minded CEOs or prayer partners. Our services compliment by helping you apply what you are learning deeper into your organization,
What about chaplaincy?
We are big fans of chaplaincy and use their services in our own company. Corporat Chaplains of America and Marketplace Chaplains are the most well known nationally in the US.
As a care strategy they have people that are trained to care for people with or without faith topics being addressed. They are effective, because they are 'outside' the company and people can talk to them about private issues that they might not want shared internally.
Chaplaincy also gives leaders an alternative for pointing someone in the right direction when they don't have the skill or relationship to go deeper.
What are the 'real' keys to success?
The only essential is that the CEO be led and inspired by God to have Kingdom impact. If that is present the CEO will not take no for an answer and will overcome the obstacles. We can faciliate and make the process easier so they are not alone, but no amount of mentoring or software can replace it.
Do you recommend any other resources?
We have experience with C12, ConveneNow, Unconventional Business Network, TruthatWork, Radical Mentoring, Faith Driven Entrepreneurs, Fellowship of Christian Companies, t-Factors. And there are many, many more.
I am using EOS. Is that a conflict?
Not at all. EOS uses great principles for coordinating, communicating and aligning people. Our software supports the EOS model.
What is the investment? How is it priced?
Investments fall into three categories:
- mentoring the CEO. Usually it starts with weekly interaction and drops to monthly over time.
- the number of teams engaged on the program. For the typical sized team this ranges in the $8 to 12 per team member per month range.
- custom services added later such as annual reviews, strength assessment, custom dashboards, data integration, etc.
We can't determine pricing until the purpose vision is defined.
What can go wrong?
Balancing running the business and the bandwidth to make change is always a risk. We address that by doing things in small steps and seeking quick wins that make work easier. We also implement team by team so it is not a huge disruption if progress is slowed. And last of all we can stop anytime, so there is no financial risk.
