Timing can be a good thing, but you still need to lead a company successfully. Gary Harpst and his partners founded Solomon Software at the start of the PC industry. Thousands of companies started, but most failed.
Gary discusses his story and insights from his third book, “Built to Beat Chaos, Biblical Wisdom for Leading Yourself and Others” (Wiley), which is being released this month. Apparently, over 47% of leaders say that chaos is pervasive in their organizations. Gary believes that although disorder can feel overwhelming at times, humans are actually designed to overcome and conquer chaos.
Gary Harpst is the CEO of LeadFirst, a leadership development company. His passion is combining business excellence and biblical wisdom. He co-founded three high-tech businesses, including Solomon Software which merged with Great Plains and was sold to Microsoft.
